The JFK Club is open to all persons adhering to our purpose. The Club consists of approximately 100 members, representing a diverse cross section of the Township population. Interested residents are warmly welcomed to attend our meetings and join. The JFK Club provides a dynamic forum for suggestions and new ideas. Elected officials regularly attend meetings to report township news and maintain an open dialogue with members.
The JFK Club meets every month with the exception of August. Meetings are generally held in the Community Room of the Franklin Township Library at 7 p.m. An annual picnic is held in July in lieu of that monthly meeting. A holiday party is held each year in December. Most meetings feature a speaker representing the township and/or county government, or, individuals with political expertise, and meetings frequently provide an excellent opportunity to learn about various commissions and boards within Franklin Township.
The JFK Scholarship Fund is supported by the members who raise funds for this 501 ©(3) charitable organization. Two scholarships are awarded each year to Franklin High School seniors who are planning to enter public service and/or education. Donations are welcomed and can be mailed to P.O. Box 6201, Somerset, NJ 08873.
